Raised By Wolves (RBW), incorporated in 1996, is located in the Zuni Mountains of New Mexico, near Bluewater Lake. The RBW animals live in a sanctuary setting, in self-organized, self-determined packs and pairs. Their large enclosures have sweeping views of the high mountain valley and surrounding hills.
Through our research and education program, our work here contributes knowledge to the understanding of wolves and wolf-hybrids. We are committed to working towards the preservation and well-being of the species, helping improve the lives of wolves and wolf-hybrids living in captivity, and helping the wolves in the wild have a better chance to not only survive, but thrive.
